Lyorta Concept Art: Azurian Air Guard With Cloak

Azurian Air Guards are the main units used during air invasions.  They are the guys who man the airships.  The big cloaks is to keep them warm while in the air because it is really cold high in the sky.  However their cloaks open nicely allowing them to use their primary weapon which is a projectile spear often paired with a large shield.  The large cloaks actually also assist with deflecting attacks and making it hard to target critical places on their body.  They are not very agile but most of the time they fight in corridor combat due to the thinness of airship halls.  Often this armor set is paired with a Varistis or Arctavist (pistol or rifle)
