I wanted to release this week, however, this is not going to happen. My aunt died and I am having to assist in taking care of things. There is a lot on my mind and the least of it is my book. Some Thoughts On Comic Art
My dear comic artists! I'm concerned about the current quality and pace of comics production. Back in the 70s, two pages a day was the industry standard. The trend seems to be shifting, though. Even though the demands and intricacies of the craft have evolved over time, it's disheartening to see production drop to an average of one page every third day. Additionally, I've noticed the characters' poses lack dynamism and vigor. Comics aren't just about the storyline, they're about the visual storytelling that imbues each frame with life. It's not a personal attack, just constructive criticism. I appreciate the hard work you all put into your art. Come on, let's elevate the standards of our beloved medium by emulating the dedication and work ethic of our comic colleagues of old. Thanks for taking the time to consider my perspective. Don't stop creating, and remember that every stroke adds to the legacy of comics.
The Insanity Is Back!
As of December of 2019, I haven't been able to draw at all since I suffered a stroke. However, I have now been able to draw for the first time since then. After a long journey, I have gained back my writing ability and now I have acquired my drawing talent as well. Recently, I produced two pieces. In January, I discovered I could draw. That was something I couldn't do before. The past years have been hard for me, not just because of world events and people going crazy, but because I've had to hang on for dear life as well. I've never given up though, so you should do the same. Sorry for being absent for so long. But I'm here now. In terms of plans, I have completed Blue Ash Crisis, my novel, while I was gone. As I am working on finishing my second one, I have already planned my next one out. I am still working on Lyorta, so if you were a fan, you will still see it soon. The one off pictures I plan to do aren't fetish in nature, but I am a reformed Christian who takes his faith
I Am Feeling So Much Better!
Let me explain! I have begun a complete rewriting of all my work. Which means I have TWO books finished and a bunch of Lyorta to post here. I will begin on my website and then it will trickle here. This is how its going to work. I will post here once a week, around Monday, a chapter one of my books. Then I will also post a chapter of Lyorta every month. This new schedule is going to be the one I follow from now on. So that will be about two books a year and about a lot more Lyorta content. There will be randomly updated stuff as well. I already am working on my third book, Forever Kingdom, and have a fourth planned. I might also do an audiobook too. So look for those as well. So Blue Ash Crisis, An To All You Know, and Lyorta will be this years treats. Hope you guys enjoy. Catch you all later. I love you all, take care.
